Cumbria Institute of Sport has been established to provide a platform for aspiring young sports men and women in Cumbria. Operating from the Newton Rigg site in Penrith. We are delighted to be bringing full-time education back to this prestigious site.
The programme is led by vastly experienced staff and former professional sportspeople.
Academies include Men's Football & Rugby League. New academies will be opening in the near future.
The academy is aimed at 16 - 19-year olds and will see learners combine academic studies with progression in their chosen sport. All learners receive technical coaching, strength and conditioning and access to physiotherapy.
